What started off as an idea to help students understand mathematics, has blossomed into a math fair at the University of the West Indies where thousands can develop a passion for the subject. Educator LINDA DOREEN DEONATH said her motivation to help students at St Joseph Convent St Joseph, moved her to do something about it. She said her idea was to create a math club, simply to get her students interested in the subject. She explained the idea grew grander because of the interests shown by students at the school.
